Since the latest Malaysian sex video scandal hit the media a few days ago I've been deluged, well almost, by requests to blog about it on Niamah!!! Some concerned readers also asked after my health and liberty seeing that I'd been quiet so long inspite of the "hot" topics available to Niamah!!! about.
Thank you all for your concern. I am well. And free. The reason why I have not blogged about the latest sex scandal to hit Malaysian politics is simply because, as a Malaysian I am just so totally sick to my stomach that I cannot think of anything remotely humourous to write about. That concerns the sex video thing.
Isn't possession, much less viewing and inviting others to view pornography a crime?
If this Datuk T is sure that the man in the video is the Opposition leader and therefore not fit to lead the nation then why doesn't he (Datuk T) just come out and say so and hand the video to the police for investigation?
Why does this Datuk T use the video to threaten this Opposition leader and by default threaten all Malaysians?
Why does Anwar have to defend himself the way he does? It was never reported in the press that it was him. At least not by name? Doesn't he have better things to do?
How come this sex scandal revelation is so timely one? Just before elections in Sarawak?
Sorry, I've just done what I said I would not do. Sorry ah. A friend just reminded me about something.
"Patrick, you really stupid or just pretending? Just think about it. What was the biggest issue before this? The BM Bibles fiasco, right? And it happened in Sarawak which is a votes goldmine for BN/Umno. Right? Not a good thing for BN/Umno, right? So, since the sex video scandal hit the media how much have you thought about the Bibles issue? Not much right? Nothing in the press, right? Not much online either, right?"
Errrr....enuf said la, I think.
Double crown for leggy beauty

ZANA Joelle Chin has two crowns in her bag – Miss Perak Model Of The World 2008 and Miss Malaysia International Model Of The Year 2008.
insidepix1
It was double happiness for the undergraduate business student at Universiti Putra Malaysia but it also changed her previously laidback lifestyle. Zana, 20, will represent Malaysia at the Miss International Model Of The Year 2008 in Korea in September. The 178cm leggy lass will also act as tourism ambassador for Perak and promote the State’s attractions such as the caves of Ipoh, beaches of Pangkor Island, Kellie’s Castle in Batu Gajah, Royal Belum Forest near Grik as well as local food like Ipoh chicken rice and bean sprouts, Ipoh kway teow and white coffee. Tell us about your most interesting travel experience. Penang. There’s just not enough time to discover the many tourism places such as beaches, temples and other heritage buildings including museums. Then, there’s the spicy nonya food which I love. It’s also wonderful that Penang has made it into the Unesco World Heritage List.
Have you ever had a really bad experience?
Yes, on my way to the USA, I threw up in the airplane and felt weak throughout the tour.
How best do you unwind during your holiday?
I like visiting cultural and historical places and meeting people.
What type of holidays do you prefer?
Relaxing ones. I’m never tired of going to Penang, no matter how many times I’ve been there. Walking and relaxing on the sandy beaches is very therapeutic.
What can’t you leave home without when you travel?
Lip balm and moisturiser as my lips and skin easily get swollen under sun.
Which is your favourite holiday destination in Malaysia? Definitely Penang.
What’s the best hotel you’ve stayed in so far? Why?
The Palace of The Golden Horses. Incredible! Good services and the bedroom is comfortable and spacious.
What or who do you miss most on vacation?
My family, as we are all very close. What do you hate most while travelling? The humid weather.
Where next would you like to go?
Pulau Redang and do lots of scuba diving and snorkelling.
Where would you recommend your friends to go?
It depends. If they love food, I’d recommend Ipoh for chicken kway teow soup and white coffee.
What was the best thing you bought on your travels and where? Clothes in Kuala Lumpur.
What was the best food you ever tasted during your travels and where?
I like the seafood at Kuala Sepetang near Taiping in Perak. Delicious and fresh.
Any advice or tips for travellers?
Be careful with your belongings especially at places like taxi stands, airport terminals and jetties.
Any comment on Malaysian tourism: places of interest, services, etc?
Every State is unique. You have to discover it for yourself. Please ensure cleanliness and security in the country.
Cheap Social Escort Services In KL
Harian Metro has reported that there are girls in Kuala Lumpur providing cheap social escort services to men for movies and sightseeing. The service includes spending time with their customers in the hotel room engaging in ligh petting but excluding actual sex.
These girls apparently meet their customers through friends or through online social networking sites.
The Harian Metro reporter interviewed a 22 year old girl called Farah who claimed she got involved in this "profession" by accident. She charges RM100 for 12 hours - overnight stay with her customer at a hotel. In this particular case, from 8pm to 8am the next day.
She met the reporter at a the lobby of a hotel at Jalan Sultan Ismail. She wore a pair of jeans and a tight fitting T-Shirt.
Farah admits that she likes foreign films and expensive cars; he favorite cars include the Honda Civic Hybrid, the Audi Q7 and the BMW X5.
Exclusive rehearsal pictures: Three women, one voice

Two things confirmed my worst suspicions recently – first, an off-the-cuff remark by a new friend formerly based in Chicago that Americans wouldn’t understand what “Ah Kua” means. Second, an article in today’s Business Times about Fred Deluca’s business name change. Fred DeLuca is the man behind the wildly popular Subway sandwich chain. Years ago, when they had only one or two outlets, Mr DeLuca opened his first shop called Pete’s Super Submarine Sandwiches and he said:”From there I just basically learnt the business one day at a time and of course made lots and lots of mistakes.” One of the mistakes was the name given to his shop.
Mr DeLuca said:
“We changed the name after about three stores. The reason was, when people used to ask me where I work I used to say ‘Pete’s Submarine’. Then they would ask ‘Oh, what kind of pizzas do you sell?’
“At first I wouldn’t understand why they were asking me that. But after a few times I realised they were hearing ‘Pizzas Submarines’ instead of ‘Pete’s Submarine’. It was then we decided to change the name to Subway.”
It’s too late for me to change the name of my show to “The Ladyboy Show”, but that’s essentially what Ah Kua – a derogatory term to transgender women – means. This mistake would cost me lots of theatre-goers who do not read beyond the title and who would not want to watch a show about Asian water (which is presumably what they think Ah Kua means), but I’ve to stop thinking like a disempowered Southeast Asian transgender woman. I’ve to stop slipping into character.
The point is, the choice of title for my maiden show in Singapore was brilliant. Ah Kua is a derogatory term capable of stirring a nation’s imagination, in Singapore and Malaysia at least. But the choice of Ah Kua for the US market is stupid, and being a PR consultant, I ought to fire myself. However, as my own boss, I can’t do that. Like DeLuca, I can only own up to my mistake, change whatever I can, and move on.
So here it is: Ah Kua Show is really Ladyboy Show.
